At Flamely, we believe your time is your own private data. That's why we built a local-first time tracking application. This policy outlines how we handle the very limited information we collect.

1. Our "Local-First" Promise

Flamely is designed to keep your activity data on your device.

Activity Logs: Your app usage, screen time, and categorization rules are stored locally in an encrypted database on your computer.
Screenshots & Recordings: If enabled, these never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
No Cloud Sync (By Default): We do not have access to your daily timeline or productivity scores.

2. Information We Collect

While your core usage data is private, we collect specific information to provide our services, specifically for the Beta program:

A. Information You Provide

Beta Registration: When you download the beta or sign up for early access, we collect your Name and Email Address.
Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the content of your messages.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Website Security: We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our site from spam and abuse. This service may collect hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and send it to Google for analysis.
IP Address: Your IP address may be logged briefly for security purposes (during sign-up) to prevent abuse, but is not linked to your local activity data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited data we collect for the following purposes:

To deliver the Flamely Beta software to you.
To send important product updates, bug fixes, and launch announcements.
To protect the security and integrity of our website (via reCAPTCHA).

4. Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted providers to run our infrastructure. We do not sell your data.

Supabase: Used to securely store our Beta waitlist and email database.
Google reCAPTCHA: Used for spam protection. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Data Retention

Beta Info: We retain your name and email as long as the Beta program is active or until you unsubscribe.
Local Data: Your time-tracking data remains on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete the application or clear its database.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information (Name/Email) we hold about you.
Request deletion of your information from our mailing list.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
